KIWANIS LITERACY NIGHT at MANZANITA SPEEDWAY

On Saturday, September 20^th 2008, at 5 pm at 35^th Ave. and Broadway, Phoenix

All Kiwanis members and family will be able to go to the race for $5 admission (regularly $15) by presenting a coupon to Manzanita Speedway which is the one of the top 10 Dirt Tracks in America
Over 6,000 donated books expected to be collected by Manzanita Speedway fans over the 30 days prior to and that night. Distribution of books to 10 to 30 schools across Maricopa County through the efforts of Kiwanis clubs and the Manzanita Speedway staff.

Manzanita Speedway and five (5) Divisions of Kiwanis approve the project authorizing the use of the Kiwanis mark and initiating insurance coverage. A written agreement will be executed.

Manzanita Speedway Director of Marketing produces 5,000 ticket coupons and 100 posters.

The Speedway promotes and collects books for each race night (Fridays & Saturdays) from August 22^nd through September 20^th.

The Speedway staff will share in the distribution responsibilities and appearances at elementary schools in districts and charter schools beginning October 1^st, 2008.
